Publishing Company Caves in to Book Burning IslamoNazis

It's been over 75 years since Hitler's jackbooted Nazis began burning books they didn't like. Here in the 21st Century book burning Islamonazis have taken a far more carbon friendly approach to censorship, deciding instead to prevent the books from being published in the first place.

U.S. Publisher 'Random House' has decided not to publish a book about Mo's favourite wife, Aysha, because Muslims may not like it... and we all know what happens when Muslims don't like something!

Random House had been advised that the book ' The Jewel of Medina' would 'incite acts of violence' from the Muslim community. The decision was taken "for the safety of the author, employees of Random House, booksellers and anyone else who would be involved in distribution and sale of the novel," said the company's deputy publisher Thomas Perry. He then bent over 5 times towards Mecca where, as a gesture of goodwill to all Muslims, he was ritually buggered by the local Imam.

The world is still recovering from the last time Muslims took offence to something they didn't like when they decided to kill, burn and destroy everything they could get their hands on (including nuns) after a cartoon was published.

It isn't entirely clear why Muslims shouldn't want the book to be read as it's merely a novel about the life of Aysha beginning at the time of her engagement when she was only SIX YEARS OLD. Some people call Allah's favourite prophet a PAEDOPHILE for getting engaged to a SIX YEAR OLD girl at the randy old age of FIFTY FOUR. But this isn't true as sexual intercourse didn't occur until she was NINE (Allah's favourite prophet is a gent) . Under Islam this is an acceptable age and is still widely practiced today.

Publisher to bring out controversial Prophet Mohammed novel

LONDON — A novel about the Prophet Mohammed and his child bride, which has already caused controversy in the United States and Serbia, will be released in Britain next month, its publisher said Wednesday.

Publishing house Gibson Square, known for having sold other controversial books, such as Alexander Litvinenko's "Blowing Up Russia", said it was "imperative" that "The Jewel of Medina" by American author Sherry Jones be available to the public.

Random House announced last month that it had cancelled publication of the book -- a fictional account of the Prophet's relationship with his youngest bride Aisha -- in the United States, saying it had been informed by credible sources that the book could incite violence.

The book was also released in Serbia last month, but was withdrawn after protests from the local Muslim community.

Martin Rynja, publishing director at Gibson Square, said, however, that in "an open society there has to be open access to literary works, regardless of fear."

"As an independent publishing company, we feel strongly that we should not be afraid of the consequences of debate," he added.

Terror suspects remain in custody

Three men arrested in north London on suspicion of terrorism continue to be questioned by police. They are suspected of attempting to set fire to a publisher's office in Lonsdale Square, Islington.

The publisher, Gibson House, is due to release a controversial novel about the Prophet Muhammad and his child bride, entitled The Jewel of the Medina.

The three men were arrested by armed officers from the Metropolitan Police in a planned operation. The men, aged 40, 22 and 30, were arrested under the Terrorism Act 2000 and are being held at Paddington Green police station.

Two were arrested outside the property in Lonsdale Square, and the third following an armed vehicle stop near Angel Tube station on Upper Street at 0225 GMT on Saturday.

A small fire was put out at the property, which is used as a home and office by publisher Martin Rynja, who is due to publish the controversial book.

Its publication in the US was cancelled in August by publisher Random House, fearing it could offend Muslims.

Random House said then it had been advised the book "could incite acts of violence by a small, radical segment".

At the time, Mr Rynja said there must be "open access to literary works, regardless of fear".

He added: "If a novel of quality and skill that casts light on a beautiful subject we know too little of in the West, but have a genuine interest in, cannot be published here, it would truly mean that the clock has been turned back to the dark ages."
